If you are not making the mind and body work as one but rather as two opposing halves, you are not realizing your full potential. No matter what your skill level, GolfPsych will teach you how to become a whole player instead of just half a golfer.

GolfPsych was developed by Jon Stabler and Dr. Deborah Graham as they conducted thousands of personality studies on the three major tours (PGA, LPGA, SPGA). As a result of their research, they found eight personality traits. Through their work on the tour the last 12 years, they have developed strategies for learning to emulate these eight traits in competition or casual play. GolfPsych works for golfers of all levels from beginner to the tour professional.

GolfPsych can be learned in a group setting or individually please click on the link below for additional information.

"A well adjusted person is one who plays golf as if it were a game"

"But this is the thing," he raised his hand and shook a finger at me, "ye can only know wha' it is by livin' into it yersel'--not through squeezin' it and shovin' it the way they do in the universities and laboratories. Ye must go into the heart o' it, through your own body and senses and livin' experience, level after level right to the heart o' it. Ye see, Michael, merely shootin' par is second best. Goin' for results like that leads men and cultures and entire worlds astray. But if ye do it from the inside ye get the results eventually and everythin' else along with it. So ye will not see me givin' people many tips about the gowf swings lik' they do in all the 'how-to' books. I will na' do it. Ye must start from the inside, lik' I showed ye there."

Golf in the Kingdom

It s important to have a sense of security: A sense of readiness; a full knowledge that come what may, you can meet it and handle it-and enjoy doing it. It's also a nice learning to come up against the situation that you can't  handle -and then later think it over, and realize that, too, was a learning that's useful in many different ways. It allows you to assess your strengths. It also allows you to discover the areas in which you need to use some more of your own securities, which rest within yourself........ Reacting to the good and the bad. And dealing with it adequately-that's the real joy in Golf.

Milton H. Erickson, M.D.

GolfPsych Short Game Application

"...neither mastery nor satisfactioncan be found in the playing of any game without giving some attention to the relatively neglected skills of the inner game. this is the game that takes place in the mind of the player, and it is played against such obstacles as lapses in concentration, nervousness, self-doubt and self-condemnation. In short, it is played to overcome all  habits of mind which inhibit excellence in performance."
